Located in Houston, Texas, Solugen has recently started-up a first-of-its-kind carbon-negative manufacturing facility - The BioforgeTM - that uses a novel chemienzymatic technology to manufacture bio-based chemistries for a wide range of applications including water treatment, agriculture, personal care, and other applications. Solugen currently has 100+ full time employees.

MISSION

The Contract Recruiter will research and attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The incumbent will provide support to all of the organization, with Corporate and Operations as their primary focus. Fostering relationships that display collaboration with internal stakeholders. In addition, the incumbent should facilitate a candidate experience that is engaging and highlights the culture of Solugen.

• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
• This begins with:
  • Consulting and collaborating with hiring managers on their staffing needs
  • Sourcing, targeting, recruiting and delivery of high-quality candidates

• Understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• Source, target, recruit and deliver highly qualified candidates using techniques and resources

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
• At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably focused on Talent Acquisition
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Demonstrated technical skills/abilities related to recruiting, using job boards and other recruitment tools
• SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus
