    ABOUT SOLUGEN:

    Solugen, Inc. is commercializing an enzymatic process to co-manufacture hydrogen peroxide and organic acids from biobased feedstocks. Solugen was founded in 2016 and is a post-Series A venture-backed startup company located in Houston, Texas. Solugen is scaling up its manufacturing process on five acres of manufacturing space with a 65,000 square foot facility containing 10,000 square feet of office and lab space. Solugen currently has 50+ full time employees.

    MISSION:

    Solugen is looking for person with a hunter mentality to help grow the CARE products sales pipeline. This person is excited about joining an early stage, high-growth startup to help build a world class culture while mastering outbound prospecting. The Sales Development Representative for CARE Products will report to the Director of Sales for CARE Products.

    This position is located in Houston, TX, but remote candidates will also be considered.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Utilize cold calling, social engagement and email prospecting to find new customers

    • Research, Hunt, develop and prospect your own outbound pipeline to generate qualified net new business opportunities

    • Achieve specific daily, month and quarterly metrics

    • Embody the Solugen brand of research first selling

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1+ year(s) of B2B sales experience, particularly prospecting.
    • Strong prospecting experience and interest in cold calling, cold emailing, and self-generation of your own pipeline.
    • Recent startup experience with a track-record of driving net-new sales.
    • Demonstrate your past ability to thrive at a startup. You are comfortable rolling-up your sleeves and stepping outside your job description.
    • You are resourceful, driven, results-oriented sales professional.
    • You are confident in your ability to run high-volume pipelines in dynamic, changing environments.
