    SQL DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER DIRECT HIRE WITH OUR CLIENT IRVINE, CA

    Solugenix is assisting a client, a leading financial services company, in their search for a SQL Data Warehouse Developer. This is a Direct Hire opportunity based out of Irvine, CA.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • College degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of similar work experience.
    • Strong working knowledge of application, SSAS, and T-SQL code and ability to demonstrate the ability to write functional requirements.
    • Solid communication skills – both written and verbal.
    • Ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to interface directly with internal customers, as needed.
    • Attention to detail and solid organization skills.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Excels in developing, maintaining, and optimizing all efforts related to Data Warehouse (SSAS, SSIS, Stored Procedures, and Views).
    • Excels in creating and developing data models.
    • Excels in building, processing, and maintaining tabular and multi-dimensional models using Microsoft SSAS.
    • Identifies and implements optimizations to both performance and accuracy of databases, as required and appropriate.
    • Develops and adheres to standards, processes, and procedures to create, deploy, and maintain databases.
    • Evaluate and advise on all technology components, such as software, hardware, and networking capabilities, for database management systems and applications.
    • Plans, implements, and supports data acquisition, staging, loading, and transformation into the data warehouse using MS SQL platform (SSIS) procedures, functions, and SQL scripts in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
    • Engage in query performance tuning.
    • Develop and modify stored procedures and T-SQL scripts in response to validation exceptions.
    • Design, implement, and maintain new and existing database objects including tables, indexes, constraints, stored procedures, and user-defined functions in support of data conversion projects.
    • Contributes to the enterprise database vision, strategy, and roadmap in close alignment with departmental business requirements, company leadership, and key business unit stakeholders.
    • Excels within a team of data, information, and solution experts who are responsible for working with the applications and infrastructure teams to develop and deliver products and services.
    • Conducts research and makes recommendations to the Enterprise Business Solutions Manager on services and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
