    Solugenix is assisting a client, a leading financial services company, in their search for a Financial Analyst. This is a 4-month contract opportunity based out of Scottsdale, AZ. ****

    Required Skills:
    Financial Statements, Customer Service, Commission Accounting, Excel.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Master’s Degree in the related field of study preferred.
    • 2-5 years of financial, accounting, or data analysis experience.
    • Advanced skills in solving problems using mathematics on large data sets.
    • Advanced Excel skills are required. Knowledge of SQL and VBA is a plus.
    • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
    • Strong communication and analytical skills.
    • Detail oriented.

    Responsibilities:

    • The Centralized Commission Calculation Team (CCT) is a team of very motivated and intelligent professionals.
    • We are responsible for the administration of commission calculations for a division.
    • This includes plan modeling, building complex formulas for commission calculation, processing payments, conducting plan and payment audits, and resolving commission related matters.
    • CCT is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team. As an Operation Incentive Analyst, you will support our conversion project to transition the calculations to an application. With several moving parts in the process, the ability to prioritize and manage deliverables effectively and efficiently is required.
    • Build complex excel formulas to calculate commission payments.
    • Maintain the integrity of reports used.
    • Prepare monthly commission calculations.
    • Perform monthly commission payment reconciliations.
    • Work closely with IT/reporting team to develop and test reports needed for commission calculation.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders and Compensation Department to model commission plans.
    • Conduct routine audits for plan compliance and payment accuracy.
    • Analyze processes and implement improvements.
    • Support implementation and ongoing administration of commission plans and provide guidance and analysis to business units.
    • Support system conversion and system testing.
