    Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious Large Insurance Company, in their search for a Software Engineer (Front-end). This is a direct-hire opportunity – 100% remote.

    We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Front-end). This position is responsible for the front-end architecture, design and development of web pages, developing code and visual styles, striking a balance between functional requirements and aesthetic design, ensuring presentation and performance are optimized for various devices and accessibility needs. Responsible for collaboration with internal and external customers to deliver project requirements, troubleshooting of issues, and providing project status. This candidate will follow all security and compliance regulations, guidelines, and governance.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BA/BS Degree
    • Minimum of 5 years in Web development
    • Minimum of 3 years designing the digital customer experience
    • Strong UI/UX experience, HTML 5, Responsive Design, JavaScript, CSS3
    • Experience with CMS
    • Experience with Web APIs (as a consumer, understanding CORS, authentication methods)
    • Experience with optimization of content delivery (including CDN)
    • Proficiency with Angular 2+ or React
    • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology.
    • Proficiency with DevOps tasks related to front-end technologies.
    • Understanding of customer journey mapping and other UX techniques.
    • Experience implementing and using modern web development workflows and operations using open-source tools.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers/vendors.

    NICE TO HAVE:

    Experience with the following technologies is considered a plus but not required: ASP.NET, Python, .NET, Postman, SQL database, dockers, Azure/AWS.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build and maintain a consumer-facing web site (s).
    • Continuous improvement tasks and user experience enhancements.
    • Strong understanding of user experience and best practices.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to review and clarify business requirements.
    • Manage content requirements in CMS (Web Blocks) from business stakeholders.
    • Experience with responsive design, accessibility standards, and guidelines.
    • Performing operational website application maintenance tasks.
    • Ensuring security and software development best practices are followed.
    • Develop test plans, test scripts, perform automated/manual functional unit testing and validation
    • Familiar with change management.
    • Creating tools to optimize workflow
    • Keeping up to date with recent technological and software developments.
    • Be a technical ambassador with business stakeholders on “all things web”
