AEM SOLUTION ENGINEER
Irvine, CA
LONG TERM CONTRACT
Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company in their search for a Digital Solution Engineer. This is a long-term contract opportunity based out of Los Angeles, CA.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience in application middleware administration in web technologies (Tomcat, Apache, etc).
- Experience in Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Adobe AEM, AWS, and cloud is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good understanding of web caching and CDN tools like Akamai.
- Experience with a Content Management tool is required. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Adobe AEM) administration is a plus.
- Working experience with Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure) and Containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is required.
- Working knowledge on a cloud-to-cloud integrations.
- Strong experience with Ansible, Chef, or any other configuration management tools is a plus.
- Strong experience in DevOps tools- Jenkins, Maven, Ant, GIT, SVN, uDeploy, Terraform, Packer is a plus.
- Strong experience of shell/Perl/Python/YAML scripting, preferably on Linux.
- Experience with the listed technologies preferred: AppDynamics, service now, Remedy Incident Management, LDAP or Active Directory, F5 BigIP load balancer, AWS ALB, Internet Web Caching, Web Analytics.
- Experience in instrumenting monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Wily Introscope, etc.
- Experience in log management tools and Splunk desired.
- Understanding of SSL Certs and configuring them on various application servers.
- Understanding of the network, security, and database environments that web applications are built around.
- Understanding of networking, firewall, and traffic management.
- Strong problem solving, verbal & written communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the management of middleware operational activities in the AWS cloud environment for a very large global web environment.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues in Tomcat, Adobe AEM.
- Configuration, Administration, Tuning, Troubleshooting, Upgrade, and Migration of Adobe AEM6.3/AEM6.5 content management environments.
- Automate day to day recurring operational tasks.
- Performance tuning of the Application servers & Web servers.
- Instrumentation of new monitoring tools and setup.
- Provide problem analysis, troubleshooting, and service recovery services.
- Provide documentation and training for L2 Middleware Teams.
- Responsible for completing tasks, focusing on requirements, and meeting client needs.
