Job Summary: • Design and build model-driven and canvas apps based on departmental needs.
• Develop custom components and connectors as required.
• Ensure solutions are secure, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive.
• Automate data workflows between PowerApps and other internal or external systems.
• Configure approvals, notifications, and business rules within Power Automate flows.
• Monitor and troubleshoot flows for reliability and efficiency.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports based on collected and existing data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop KPIs and performance metrics.
• Ensure data models are optimized for performance and maintain data integrity.
• Develop role-based access and publish dashboards securely.
• Participate in user testing and iterative refinements.
• Responsible for developing and implementing application development tasks.
• Assists with deployment of applications and resources.
Required Skills:
• Proficient in developing PowerApps (canvas and model-driven)
• Strong knowledge of Power Automate for automating business processes
• Experience with JSON, REST APIs, and custom connectors
• Familiarity with data integration using SharePoint, SQL Server, or Dataverse
• Understanding of user experience (UX) design and responsive layouts
• Competency in debugging, performance optimization, and error handling
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise system integration and enterprise geodatabases
Required Experience:
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power Platform development
• Prior work on enterprise-level apps with multiple stakeholders
• Experience developing secure apps
• Previous exposure to police department or public safety data workflows is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team
