Solution Sales Professional (SSP) – **Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) **
Location: Remote (anywhere in USA)
Hitachi Solutions is seeking a motivated and highly knowledgeable Solution Sales Professional (SSP) – Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) to join our growing Industry Sales Team.
This role requires prior experience selling Microsoft solutions into the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry. As a key contributor to the larger sales organization, you will play a pivotal role in identifying GTM sales plays, building sales enablement content, and providing industry messaging for business development efforts. The SSP role provides the subject matter expertise and business advisory support to our customers and prospects as well as the larger Microsoft and Hitachi Solutions field teams.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem. This includes a track record of supporting and delivering results in solution sales, and the ability to work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders to support and achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
1. Develop industry sales plays and messaging across Microsoft business applications and Azure workloads.
2. Led specific strategic initiatives which range from parts of the annual playbook, to co-selling engagements, to industry Marketing events and initiatives.
Industry GTM Solutions & Marketing:
1. Lead the internal specific industry solutions and messaging strategy. Provide competitive analysis and market demand for internal investment.
2. Follow industry trends, customer pain points, and opportunities within the Microsoft ecosystem for generating new business.
3. Utilize industry knowledge to craft compelling presentations and offerings that resonate with customers.
Microsoft and Customer Engagements:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft field teams and the partner ecosystem to align on sales strategies. Lead co-sell opportunities.
2. Serve as a trusted industry advisor to customers, understanding their business needs and recommending tailored solutions to address challenges that drive growth.
3. Collaborate with Hitachi DBDs, Innovation, and Delivery teams to present solution plays, demonstrate business and industry expertise, all facilitating customer success.
Internal Collaboration:
1. Work closely with Hitachi's delivery and technical teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support for customers.
2. Contribute to practice growth through educating, sharing insights, strategies, and best practices with the broader sales team.

B ase Salary Pay Range: USD $110,000 – USD $160,000*
*The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills relevant to the role, internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
