MHRF is seeking a detail-oriented Solutions Tester 1 to join our growing team. This is a full-time, remote position offering a competitive rate of $62.47 per hour. As a Solutions Tester 1, you will be responsible for testing software solutions to ensure they integrate smoothly and function reliably within healthcare systems, workstreams, and facilities. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow your career in software testing, particularly in healthcare IT and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Key responsibilities include conducting thorough testing of software solutions, collaborating with clients to understand and incorporate their feedback, and ensuring EHR systems meet both functional and regulatory standards. You will work closely with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues, as well as validate configurations, data accuracy, and workflow integration across various EHR modules such as patient records, billing, and clinical documentation.
In addition, you will create and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts tailored to clinical and administrative workflows. You’ll also participate in client meetings, perform interoperability testing for healthcare data exchange, and contribute to improving testing methodologies and processes.
To qualify, you must have:
A US citizenship
A bachelor’s degree in a related field
At least two years of experience in software testing or quality assurance with exposure to EHR or healthcare systems
Strong analytical skills
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, healthcare IT testing tools, and basic programming and database concepts
Attention to detail
Effective communication
The ability to work independently in a remote setting
Preferred qualifications include:
Completion of the Oracle Cerner certification program (equivalent to three years of experience)
Experience with clinical systems or EHR modules,
Knowledge of agile methodologies
Experience with automation tools specific to EHR systems
