Solutions For Change is searching for a Community Engagement Fundraiser to join its team. We put a premium on our integrity and community-centric passion and seek a team member who is like-minded and that will help drive our mission to the next level! • Lead: We run on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) with a clearly defined Vision, Mission, and Values • Impact: Drive a major national social sector conversion to fundamentally change how our nation views and acts on deep poverty and homelessness • Collaboration: Partner with national visionaries at the highest levels of government and philanthropic sectors • Influence: Build a national reputation and legacy as an impactful and influential agent of change Reporting directly to our Community Engagement Director, this role will be responsible for reaching fundraising goals that fund the transformation of the families we serve. Our community engagement team operates on a “For Impact” philanthropic foundation with catalyst team engagements in faith, corporations, and government and is responsible for over $6 million a year in revenue. The ideal candidate will have experience working with philanthropic individuals, foundations, and corporations. They must be sensitive to the conditions of homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, under-education, underemployment, and the community of people who are homeless or have special needs. Responsibilities: • Manage a portfolio of donors • Identify qualified prospects to grow an active donor base • Attend network events and outreach opportunities • Support Community Engagement events including annual fundraisers • Host community outreach presentations • Meet established outreach and development objectives Qualifications: The ideal candidate loves connecting with prospects, presenting to them, closing the deal, and asking for referrals. Required: • Attitude--can-do, cooperative, team-oriented, outgoing • Passionate about solving family homelessness and alignment to Solutions for change core values • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Strong written and verbal skills • Proficient in computer skills, including the full Microsoft Office suite and the ability to quickly learn other Windows-based software. • Strong planning, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills • Ability and flexibility to work on a variety of tasks (often simultaneously) • A high school diploma or GED is required Preferred: • Experience using Hubspot or related CRM • Experience in fundraising or direct sales • Experience working within non-profit organizations • Knowledge and experience in event planning • Able to analyze data and work with quantitative information • Bachelor’s degree Compensation: $25 hourly
