Solve IT Strategies is looking for an IT End Point Imaging Tech. This role is located at Milwaukee, WI.
The Main Responsibilities of a person are:
Unbox, image, asset tag, label, configure, and re-box new or used laptop, desktops, cellular, tablets, and other IT end points in the computer imaging center located at HIT warehouse.
Completes device staging utilizing defined processes and tools.
Performs software installation, implements device security requirements and ensures compliance with hardware/software standards.
Documents asset tag information (serial number and asset tag number) to be imported into Active Directory, CMDB database, and other systems used for inventory tracking and configuration.
Connects hardware to the network and KVM devices to be imaged, configured, and setup as directed. Establishes initial network connectivity for new device deployment following defined procedures. Troubleshoots when necessary in order to successfully image equipment.
Prepares and packages IT equipment and collaborates with and delegates to warehouse personal for receipt, movement, and delivery of equipment stock and pallets
Configures multiple machines simultaneously in mass production environment with attention to detail and accuracy while following documented procedures.
Communicates timely status of device imaging assignments and informs leadership of any deviation from standards.
Completes assigned tasks within defined project plan timeframes. Identifies any potential risks or concerns that may impact the project. Informs project management and leadership of the issues and potential solutions.
Participates in developing risk reduction recommendations and solutions for issues
Requirements
High School Graduate.
Typically requires 1 year of experience in Windows, IOS, Android operating systems, computer hardware configurations and software troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software applications Ability to detect and resolve basic IT technical problems
Ability to follow directions with a strong attention to detail Team player with the ability to build long term relationships
Written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate Basic understating of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
