    Solve IT Strategies is looking for a Rev Capture & Audit Specialist for a leading beauty retail company.

    The Main Responsibilities of a person are:

    • Perform proactive/concurrent audits for assigned departments or as appropriate toidentify areas of billing discrepancies and/or duplicate charges
    • Perform periodic retrospective, charge capture reviews of assigned departmentsincluding review of medical record, encounter form, UB-92, and electronic billingtools to identify charging/billing issues
    • Communicate identified audit issues with the department management team.Develop and document improvement process solution with the departmentmanagement
    • Escalate issues regarding revenue capture or incorrect charging practices whenappropriate
    • Escalate issues regarding nursing documentation when appropriate
    • Ability to coordinate large projects; work under time pressures and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to lift 20#–Ability to work independently. –Skill understanding and analyzing patient bills and medicalrecords.
    • Ability to interact with associates at all levels within theorganization.
    • Ability to provide superior customer service.
    • Ability to investigate, analyze and apply contract language,billing guidelines, medical and reimbursement policies.
    • Strong written, and oral communication skills and be capableof handling confrontational encounters in a positive manner.
    • Must have proven problem-solving abilities and stronganalytical skills.
    • Travel to local meetings at various sites as necessary.
    • Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
    • Effective organizational skills.
    • Skill in understanding charge capture and analyzing patientbills.
    • Familiar with reading medical chart.

    SKILLS:

    • Effective knowledge of PC.
    • Proficient in use of aMicrosoft and applicationssuch as Office and relatedsoftware (e.g. Word, Excel,and Access
    • Knowledge ofinpatient/outpatient CMSbilling regulations

    EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE:

    • 5-7 Years prior hospitalclinical experience.
    • Codingexperience helpful.
    • Solidknowledge and understandingof provider reimbursementmethodologies. medicalterminology, human anatomy,physiology, CPT, HCPCS andUB-92 coding.

    CERTIFICATION:

    • Certified Coding Associate(CCA) valid and currentcertification required
    • Certified Coding Specialist(CCS) valid and currentcertification required
