    Solve IT Strategies is looking for an Accounting Manager. This role is located at Seattle, WA. Onsite position…Monday to Friday

    The Main Responsibilities of a person are:

    • Demonstrate ability to understand financial goals and operate assets in owners’ best interest.
    • Work in compliance with the company’s financial policies and procedures.
    • Accounts payable/credit card management and EFT payment management and posting.
    • Solid skills and understanding of accrual accounting including PL/Balance Sheet relationship, Inventories and COGS.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for owners and lenders (13 sets of books) and consolidate year end statements.
    • Cash Management.
    • Payroll and Human Resource Management.
    • Monitor bank account activity and bank reconciliations.
    • Ensure that debt payments, property taxes and business taxes and filings are made on a timely basis.
    • Assess and record tax and insurance accruals.
    • Assemble information for audits for selected properties.
    • Prepare lender required compliance paperwork.
    • Review tax and insurance obligations.
    • Maintain a system of internal controls and systems security.
    • Maintain communication and relationship with CPA firm, attorney, and banks.
    • Annual 1099 preparation, CAM reconciliation, capitalization, and balance sheet reconciliation.
    • Process year-end accounting including depreciation and CPA adjusting entries.
    • Understand tenant law and help set guidelines.
    • Write leases/lease language and assist with commercial lease negotiation.
    • Master Property Management System (AppFolio) functions and provide operational guidelines.
    • Evaluate future projects. Create proforma documents and budgets.
    • Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate course of action.

    Experience you will need:

    • Skilled in use of computer and software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting systems (AppFolio and QuickBooks).
    • Property Management experience highly desired.
    • Construction and project management experience highly desired.
    • Hospitality experience highly desired.
