JOB DESCRIPTION
- Information Assurance support for DoD IT systems. Must be familiar with IT system risk analysis and mitigation
- Assist the site Cyber Security Liaison in reviewing system security information and maintain relevant security accountability logs and records
- Scan IT systems using ACAS software and must be able to analyze information gained during scanning to assess risk
- Assist in the completion of IT system accreditation packages
- Perform validation function of Navy IT systems and their programs
- Must be able to determine risk of IT systems from information gathered through scanning and patch management solutions
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Programming, or Informatics, or equivalent education and 3 to 5 years of related experience.
- Candidates must have the certificates required for DoD 8570 IAM level II certification. These certifications consist of: CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent) required; CASP or CISSP preferred.
- Certified Navy Validator certification preferred.
- Experienced with network security principles and practices.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with shipboard IT staff preferred.
- Familiar with shipboard IT technical data systems both shipboard as well as ashore site.
- VMWare Administrator certification desired
- Experience in system administration
- Experience with ACAS, SCAP/STIG, and Windows technical integration
- Strong experience creating and reviewing DIACAP/RMF certification and accreditation packages. Experience with at least one full RMF package submission
- NIAPS experience is a plus.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Must have a current SECRET clearance
