Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative marketing professional to fill the role of Digital Content & Social Media Specialist. This position will focus on creating and executing a digital content strategy across all mediums (social, website, email, etc.) to increase brand visibility and support lead generation efforts. The person in this position is also specifically charged with the ongoing management and growth of Somfy’s social media presence and engagement, in alignment with business strategies and direction.
- Create, own, and execute overall content strategy.
- Manage content calendar. Create/manage/post all content and visual assets, including, but not limited to social posts, blog posts, email blasts, press releases, articles.
- Manage and grow business presence and engagement across social media channels, including, but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Social community management: Monitor all social profiles & other relevant sites. Answer user questions (or direct users to appropriate Somfy personnel) and actively participate in discussions across communities, social networks & blogs.
- Social Media Influencer Campaigns: Solicit, manage, coordinate all aspects of influencer campaigns. Work with influencers, sales team, digital agency, and dealers to complete influencer campaigns.
- Email marketing: write content for and create all email blasts, including scheduled newsletters, automated workflows, and one-off blasts. Coordinate design of needed creative. Perform A/B testing to optimize engagement and conversions.
- Website content: write or edit all website/blog content (including B2C and B2B sites as well as Amazon listings). Provide and execute new ideas for content and content presentation (infographics, whitepapers, interactive tools, etc.).
- Write/create any other content as necessary (award submissions, partnership announcements, etc.).
- Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels.
- Provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations to digital/end user team (as well as other internal teams) on a regular basis.
- Manage/work with external digital marketing and/or PR agencies as needed.
