Brook Electric is seeking a Switchgear Manager to manage the sales and operations of the Brook Electrical Supply Switchgear Division.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing all quotation specialists and project mangers.
• Establishes direct long-term customer relationships and fully responsible for customer satisfaction through-out the sales process.
• Provides value engineering on projects.
• Packages projects with multiple vendors.
• Supports sales force to close orders.
• Mentors and trains staff both commercially and technically.
• Responsible for assigned budget and sales growth.
• Accountability for timely completion and profitability of projects.
• Responsible for increasing the profit margin of all projects.
• Manages and coordinates with all parties involved in the order both internal and external.
• Manages and maintains good relationships. Establishes customer service that separates us from our competition in the marketplace.
• Establish standards and procedures for project reporting, communication, and documentation.
• Uses electronic tools to maintain records that can be accessed by anyone internally.
• Keeps the company’s best interests in mind while performing job.
• Maintains confidentiality of propriety and sensitive business information.
• Attend meetings and training, as requested by executive management, company, customer or vendor.
• Position may require some travel to job sites or assembly plants.
• Performs other duties as directed by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science or Technical Degree preferred.
• 10 + years of experience in the electrical business.
• 3 + years of experience in management.
• Expert in Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchgear.
• Proven experience in closing orders.
• Proven experience in people management.
• Proven experience in strategic planning.
• Proven experience in risk management.
