Title: OSP Planner - II

Location: Ashburn, VA

Duration: 24 Months Contract

ONSITE POSITION

DESCRIPTION:

PLANNER/ACCESS DESIGN-Must be capable of providing both long-range and short-range planning services, as assigned, in support of optimization of the Verizon Special Access spend. must have a thorough functional knowledge of current telecommunications planning. 5-7 years of experience. Verizon LD systems and network knowledge a plus.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE -

Prior provisioning experience (TDM and Ethernet helpful)

Good working knowledge of VZ (fMCI) systems

Good communication skills

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE -

The individual will support my VZ Access Planning team in -

Circuit research

Blocking of channels on higher bandwidth facilities

Monitoring decom projects/attending project calls

Loading circuits that have been targeted for optimization

Monitor activity for completion, etc
