POSITION OVERVIEW
The position of Quality Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager.
To be aligned with AP and global quality function to develop and implement NJ plant quality management. Key responsibilities include managing ISO 9001 quality system and collaborating with the EHS department for ISO14001 & OSHAS 18001 system. You will also work with functions inside and outside the site, including customer to support business growth.
PRIMARY DUTIES
To be aligned with AP and global quality strategy to develop and implement NJ plant quality management.
To manage ISO 9001 quality system and coordination of ISO14001 and OSHAS18001 systems implementation in NJ plant.
To manage the customer interaction together with commercial team and technical service team.
To supervise the investigation of quality incident, including internal OOS and external customer complaint. Monitor the preventive & corrective actions follow up.
To manage the quality audit, internal and external, including customer audit. To coordinate with all departments to close subsequent actions.
Apply quality management tools, FMEA, SPC and others to improve quality continuously.
Supervise the quality control, including incoming raw material, finish goods and online quality control.
Manage the supplier quality and track the performance. Evaluate the supplier together with sourcing and R&D.
To organize monthly quality meeting to review quality performance. Develop the actions for the continual improvement.
Lead and coach team to achieve the company and functions goal and objective.
EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED
3 direct reports: Quality Engineer, QA Specialist, QC Supervisor.
11 in total including first line technicians.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITY
Can approve the operation expense based on DOA.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree major in chemistry or chemical engineering;
Minimum 5 years quality management experience;
Good command of English for writing, listening and speaking.
Good communication skill.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Leader Auditor certificate of ISO 9001
Experience in multinational company
