    We are currently seeking entry level technical positions.  These entry level positions will give you exposure to a unique industry where science and creativity intersect.  The positions are considered a stepping stone to IFF’s renowned Seasoning Flavorist Training Program.  A select number of candidates will advance from these entry level positions to join the Seasoning Flavorist Development Program as a Trainee Seasoning Flavorist.  In the role of Trainee Seasoning Flavorist, you will develop the skills and knowledge required to enter into the flavorist profession. The main focus of the 2 years training program is to develop creative skills through practical training in formulating the major seasoning tonalities and by working on customer projects. The training program consist important topics such as raw material recognition, seasoning creation technics, basic training in flavor technology, all snack application areas and basics of manufacturing seasonings & snacks. You will gain valuable insights of R&D, Sensory & Consumer Insights, production, quality control departments, sales and marketing. Further, you will gain from an international environment and be supported / mentored during this period by experienced Seasoning Flavorists.

    BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    • Understand the key steps in projects from creation to production
    • Build discipline and awareness on major project requirements and in-time execution
    • Further develop an understanding of the flavor industry as well as more in depth knowledge of the markets and consumers
    • Understand what are the best-selling products on the markets and why

    TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Learn how to create new seasonings
    • Understand the process for seasoning modifications and local adoptions
    • Gain a thorough understanding of the development process
    • Learn to assess unique raw materials
    • Exposure to basic level of global regulatory affairs and  legislation knowledge

    TALENT DEVELOPMENT

    • Drive your own development; partner with your manager to establish a personal development plan
    • Support and participate, as necessary, in IFF internal training programs
    • Connect with your colleagues often; share knowledge and promote team work and strategic partnerships

    Required Skills

    • Passionate about a career in the Flavor industry
    • English required, another language is beneficial
    • Creative mind; able to come up with new ideas and concepts which are practical to implement
    • Good communication skills (written/verbal) with all levels within the organization
    • Accuracy, attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Knowledge on the MS Office package
    • Team player
    • Basic project management skills
    • Disciplined and process oriented
    • Focused on execution excellence
    • High threshold for pressure; flexible
    • Flexibility on mobility essential as required to travel  & train in  different IFF locations throughout the training program

    Required Experience

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a science field preferably Food Technology or Food Engineering
    • 0-1 years’ internship experiences in similar job / Flavor or snack manufacturing industry
    • Pass IFF internal Olfactive smelling / flavor test
