    The PRACTICE MANAGER/ADMINISTRATOR will provide leadership and management to the  practices in the Dept. of Ob/Gyn and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations to ensure appropriate systems, policies and procedures are in place to drive quality clinical outcomes, patient, staff and physician satisfaction, and excellent financial performance. The PRACTICE MANAGER collaborates with physicians and hospital administration to develop and implement the practice business plans, measure performance, and develop and implement improvements. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    •  The overall operational responsibility for the routine business and clinical functions through administrative and clinical staff including front desk, medical records, and ancillary services to ensure maximum utilization of resources and the efficient delivery of services.
    • Supervise staff and oversee the management of all administrative and clinic activities.
    • Resolve medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, positive clinic atmosphere.
    • Responsible for developing and implementing the department's mission and strategic vision in a collaborative leadership style.
    • Provides leadership in developing, planning, and implementing the practice's business plans to the physicians in collaboration with the Department Chair.
    • Collects and reviews physician productivity data and facilitates collaborative problem solving and communication with the physicians and executive leadership.

     

    FULL-TIME, 37.5 HOURS

    MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8:00AM-4:00PM

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree  in business, healthcare, or related field.

    • 5+ years managing a medical practice with exceptional leadership and organizational/business management skills.

    • Strong experience supervising multiple employees.

    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; English proficiency required.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills.

    • Demonstrates success in program implementation, operations, and fiscal management.

    • Excellent knowledge of information technology and its application to the health care environment. Electronic medical records experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
