    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

    Provides vision, leadership, and hands on management of IT infrastructure and services, including networks, enterprise software, telephone, service desk and desk side support.  Influences the move from physical to the cloud for core functions.  Ensures an always on, scalable, cost effective infrastructure across the company.

    Manages annual budget process and monthly budget management for infrastructure and network technology related budgets, as well as key vendor relationships.

    Ensures branch and corporate offices have appropriate network and infrastructure.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Define and measure IT services performance against service levels, using measurable KPIs
    • Ideate, evaluate and oversee implementation of systems, network and process improvements related to deployment, monitoring and security
    • Evaluate, recommend and execute enhancements, patches and improvements to network and service processes
    • Responsible for network architecture and monitoring, data centers, WAN, telecommunication
    • Collaborate, advise and consult with peers and project teams on infrastructure and services needs for new capabilities and projects
    • Manage service delivery: helpdesk, desk side, hardware image and depot, major incident response and reporting and analytics on service management and system stability
    • Lead a staff of varied technical skills, supporting career growth and technical skill development
    • Keep current with trends in IT industry current technology and prices
    • Work closely with information security team and leadership to ensure constant protection of our environment, identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement and ensuring a plan exists to resolve
    • Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary.
    • Manage and develop upgrades to the company’s telephone system. And ensure ongoing stability of telephone network providers across the US

    MANAGE ENTERPRISE LICENSING

    • Coordinates contracts for key enterprise platforms: including but not limited to: contract development, negotiation, and monitoring, variance and budget reporting
    • Manages enterprise application IT procurement, installation, deployment, and appropriate budget alignments

    SERVICE/IT HELP DESK ADMINISTRATION

    • Oversee all help desk activities and ensures all escalated issues are responded to in per SLAs
    • Interact with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues
    • Manage internal and outsourced Helpdesk resources, develop management criteria to ensure timely problem resolution and very high client satisfaction
    • Implement and manage appropriate service desk technology and data
    • Proactively provide trends of issues and service KPIs
    • Ensure all projects transitioned to service desk is done in a successful manager

    HARDWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT

    • Build and maintain vendor relationships and assist in the purchasing of hardware and software products at the best prices
    • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure that company assets are maintained responsibly.
    • Manages procurement, imaging, inventory of physical technology assets
    • Accountable for warranty management, replacement and issuance of all new devices (mobile, laptop, tablets)
    • Accountable for the evaluation and installation of new or changing locations; merger or acquisition integration
    • Perform cost/benefit analysis of new hardware

    Required Skills

    QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

    • Drive to stay ahead of trends in technology and architecture
    • 8 years in managing infrastructure and service teams and enterprise networks
    • Familiarity with ITIL principles and maturity models
    • Experience in physical office setup and monitoring, and telephony management
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities
    • Strong collaboration skills, bias to action and transparency
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related or other related field OR equivalent work experience
    • Ability to clearly communicate to technical and non-technical audiences
