Rogers Behavioral Health in West Allis is excited to announce we are looking for a Pool (PRN) Patient Safety Associates to join our team! 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Conduct safety rounds on patient units. 
• Provides support to staff when a crisis develops and serves as a role model to staff on patient collaboration and interventions. 
• Interact with patients in a supportive, therapeutic manner, that model's patient advocacy.
• Is responsible for providing personal safety screening of patients and visitors entering our facilities.

WEST ALLIS OPENING(S): 

 PRN/Pool: Make your own schedule! Must work a minimum of 8 shifts per month! 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; two years of college-level coursework or training is preferred.
• Experience in security, police academy or medical field preferred. 
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID and Influenza, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.

Required Skills Required Experience

1. Knowledge of computer keyboard and 10 key touch, ability to type at least 40 words per minute
2. Knowledge of computerized practice management systems and other computerized systems (Microsoft office programs and electronic health records systems)
3. Demonstrates good telephone management skills
4. Knowledge of ICD-9 CM and CPT coding systems
5. Good organizational skills
