    The RN Clinical Director of Surgery will work in this 540+ bed hospital recognized as one of the top hospitals in the state in terms of patient safety and employee satisfaction.

     

    The RN Clinical Director of Surgery will oversee front-line clinical and administrative operations for this active department with 12 OR’s performing 25-40 cases daily and will oversee approximately 100 direct reports. This person is responsible for improving the quality of care, strengthening the financial performance of the unit and improving patient, physician and employee satisfaction. Also works with the team to reduce infrastructure, promote high value performance, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance.

    Required Experience

    • Current California RN license
    • Bachelor’s degree required or in process
    • Minimum two years supervisory/management experience preferred
    • Experience working as a surgical nurse
    • Current BLS certification
    • CNOR-preferred
