Sonic Scenario focuses on both signing artists and creating our own music, mainly in the covers space. We are looking for an intern to join the team! Our perfect candidate has experience working in music, either as an artist, or prior work with labels or playlisting companies. The candidate will work closely with artists to facilitate releases and collect and listen to demo submissions. The internship will also include analyzing streaming data and trends, and assist in distribution administration and marketing. With good chemistry and successful releases, new opportunities and compensation will be rewarded. Qualifications - Self-motivated - Strong passion and knowledge of the music landscape, including disco, dance and pop. - Understanding of the DSP platforms. - Technology savvy - Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and professionalism - Attention to detail, multi-tasking and follow-through skills required - Can work on NYC time
