Sonnets Academy is looking for a warm, patient and experienced individual for our Preschool Front Desk and Classroom Support position. This well-rounded individual should have an interest and/or experience in the field of Early Childhood Education and will assist the Director in day-to-day program operation.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree (preferred if related to early childhood or child development)
At least 21 Credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field
At least 3 credits in administration, leadership, or management, or a Level One Director Credential through Gateway for Opportunities.
One year of administrative experience preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Platform
Strong organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist Director with maintaining full compliance with DCFS, local health codes, or any other agency codes.
Responsible for the front desk support, assisting with phone calls, filing and email correspondence with parents.
Support classrooms when teachers step out for scheduled plan time.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Monday through Friday, 1:30 or 2:00 to 6:15pm
