    MEDICAL EDUCATION PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

    SonoSim, Inc., is seeking a Medical Education Production Associate to work with medical experts to develop ultrasound educational content for the SonoSim® Ultrasound Training Solution. This is an entry-level position for a tech savvy, well-organized, and highly motivated individual interested in health and/or medical technologies. Our team of Medical Education Production Associates are responsible for medical data management, working alongside medical experts to develop medical training simulations and produce online educational content, and for assuring a high-quality product.

    DESCRIPTION

    SIMULATED CONTENT DEVELOPMENT:

    • Assist with ultrasound scanning sessions for data collection
    • Process and edit ultrasound image data
    • Maintain digital libraries of medical data
    • Learn and use internally developed, proprietary software to manipulate ultrasound data and other imaging modalities (e.g., CT scans, x-rays) to integrate into the product
    • Closely collaborate with physicians and sonographers to manipulate data in simulation projects
    • Perform quality assurance for multiple simulation projects and software release
    • Assist with compiling video elements

    ONLINE CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

    • Review and edit drafts of didactic, ultrasound training courses written by medical experts
    • Perform quality assurance of online educational content

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS

    • Interested in health and/or medical technologies
    • Strong attention to detail 
    • High level of organization
    • Tech savvy – very comfortable with computers and technology
    • Some experience with video editing and Adobe Premiere preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong, high-level reading-comprehension skills
    • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and follow directions
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively work as part of a team and individually in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills
    • Understanding of medical imaging modalities preferred

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor'a degree in biology, life sciences, or related undergraduate studies field

    COMPENSATION

    •   Salary range is $50,000 to $60,000 depending on skills and experience
    •       Healthcare, dental and vision insurance
    •       Paid holidays

    WORK ARRANGEMENT

    Team members need to be available for two days per week in the office.
