Remote W2, 10-30 hrs/wk. $25-28/ hr

Course graders are subject matter experts who apply their knowledge and experience, along with detailed grading rubrics, to evaluate student work on various project based-assessments. Evaluators provide personalized, constructive, written feedback to students and accurately score the work according to specific criteria.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate student assessment task responses to project-based prompts

• Utilize rubrics to ensure the valid and reliable assessment of student learning

• Diligently self-manage grading workloads with an online ticketing system

• Utilize rubrics and example feedback to provide clear, concise, timely, and actionable written feedback on student work

Education & Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Requirements & Key Skills

• Teaching or assessment experience

• Basic understanding of the rationale of project-based learning and assessment

• Ability to regularly complete at least 10 hours of assessment grading per week

• Content knowledge related to Business Law

• Excellent written communication

• Ability to accurately and reliably utilize rubrics and sample feedback
