Sosuite started in 2019 and now boasts over 250 bedrooms throughout Philadelphia. WE ARE A FAST-GROWING COMPANY LOOKING FOR HONEST, RELIABLE, AND HARD-WORKING PART TIME HOUSEKEEPER TO KEEP SOSUITE PHILADELPHIA RUNNING SMOOTHLY! This position is a part time housekeeping job to cover in for our weekends, this could be Saturday to Monday, Saturday and Sunday or just Sundays. Sosuite's Housekeepers take ownership and responsibility for cleanliness in their designated areas and guest rooms ensuring that our guest rooms are Sparkling clean, delivering a great Sosuite guest experience from the moment they walk into our units. In addition to general housekeeping duties, we rely on our Housekeepers to be our eyes and ears at each Sosuite property, anticipating and reporting potential guest issues, and ensuring that each of our guest's Sosuite experience is of the highest quality!

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• A Part time housekeeper available to work one of the following days:
  • Saturday to Monday
  • Sunday and Monday
  • Sundays
• Someone based in Philadelphia and excited about joining a fast-growing team
• Someone reliable with a positive attitude - we lift our coworkers up and extend hospitality to everyone
• Someone with previous housekeeping experience (required) hands on
• Eligible to work in the United States

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• W-2
• Starting pay: $15.50 per hour
• Overtime pay: 1.5x on Sosuite's observed holidays (New Years, MLK Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AT SOSUITE:

• Work part time
• Able to work 4-8 hours on the designated days, depending on the business needs of each day
• Pick up open shifts throughout the week if desired
• Work at different locations across Philadelphia
• Clean, prepare and inspect entire short term rental apartments, including bathroom, kitchen, living area, common areas, and similar
• Change linens, wash windows, polish surfaces, clean floors, remove stains, and similar
• Restock apartments with consumables, apartment items, linen & terry, and miscellaneous
• Ensure all furniture, appliances, and amenities are clean and in working order
• Clean hallways, building common areas, and offices as assigned
• Conduct special cleaning projects as assigned
• Conduct stayover cleans, cleaning around guests' personal belongings
• Conduct inspections to make sure units are fully ready for upcoming guests
• Re-clean areas as requested by a manager or supervisor
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards or damage of Sosuite property
• Complete cleaning tasks within the expected time frame
• Clock in and out for shifts and breaks on time and as requested by supervisors or managers
• Use mobile applications to communicate completed cleanings or report problems
• Return company property and equipment to central locations once work has been completed

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Ability to walk up several flights of stairs to access the apartments at multiple locations in Philadelphia (most buildings will have elevators)
• Ability and willingness to work at different locations in Philadelphia depending on the day's needs.
• Previous housekeeping experience
• Experience inspecting units
• The ability to use mobile applications as instructed
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods, and cleaning sensitive materials
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, and bend
• Ability to lift, push, and pull required loads (usually about 30 lbs)
• A positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively both in a team environment as well as independently
