    We are a CPA Firm looking for an Accountant Auditor with 1-3 years of experience. The position offers very strong career growth in which you will have the opportunity to improve your skills and grow. We require a bachelor's degree, CPA preferred; we also provide continuing education and CPA licensing support. Our firm works in various types of accounting engagements and audits which includes financial and compliance audits, reviews, compilations, and government auditing. Salary commensurate with experience. Hybrid work is available.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES FOR ACCOUNTANT:

    • Prepare financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and ensure deadlines are met.

    • Be able to analyze reports for accuracy and completeness.

    • Analyze large qualities of complex data, leveraging Excel skills to research and draw conclusions from financial data.

    • Identify possible discrepancies in financial data or accounting calculations; develop or recommend solutions when needed.

    • Assist with external audit as well as internal controls assessment process.

    • Audit experience is a plus!

    • Governmental audit experience is a plus!

    • Perform other duties as necessary.
