Job Description

Business is booming in the virtual event world. We're looking for a junior Wordpress designer/front-end developer to build out micro-sites for our virtual event clients. Sites vary in size and complexity and typically only exist for a few weeks to months. The ideal candidate will have excellent design, development and communication skills, superb attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quality work within tight timelines. Some basic customization with HTML/CSS may be required, depending on the build.

As the junior designer, you'll work with Project Managers assigned to each project, and report to our VP of User Experience. You'll create virtual event sites for some of the biggest brands in technology, Fortune 500, Pharma, and the non-profit sector.

SKILLS

• Must have strong experience with Wordpress and knowledge of Wordpress best practices
• Experience working with Elementor Page Builder or similar
• Strong design skills and ability to follow branding guidelines from clients
• Experience with HTML/CSS
• Experience with responsive web design
• Experience with tight-turnaround times
• Quality control check before reviewing with clients
