    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY: As our Human Resources Generalist you will assist us in building the best team, in the most productive environment, which will result in long-term retention of our team members. You will recruit, advice and aid our team members. You will listen to concerns and take action when problems arise. You will guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs. You will walk the line between keeping team members happy and making sure the business is profitable. Your practices and objectives will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior team.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The major areas you will be responsible for will include:

    • Recruitment of team members
    • Employee on-boarding, development, needs assessments
    • Compensation and benefit administration
    • Performance reviews and improvement systems
    • Policy development and documentation
    • On-going training for management team regarding employee law/policies
    • Employee relations

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for this opportunity, you should have the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
    • 2+ years exempt level experience in the Human Resource field
    • Better than average written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organization management skills
    • Knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, recruitment, employee relations, and safety
    • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
    • Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the management team
    • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
    • Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources recognition and engagement programs and processes
    • Experience in recruiting top quality talent
