Job Description

Seeking a User Experience Architect for a consulting position at a publishing client. Worker can be remote in EST time zone.

Job Summary:

• Will work closely with Product and Director of User Experience Architecture on new global news database experience.
• The ideal candidate should bring their experience in usability, information design, information architecture to create viable and holistic experiences.
• Experience with complex data-rich workflows, platforms and design systems is a plus.
• You will be responsible for taking projects from high level ideas to final concept by creating journey maps, detailed wireframes with functional specifications and prototypes for usability testing.
• Contribute to identifying common patterns (modular design) and creating interaction patterns for reusable libraries within the design system.
• As a champion for accessibility, work with the accessibility lead in making sure standards are implemented and documented on all components/workflows within the product.
• The role requires high level collaboration and partnership with UX Design, Research, Product and Technology teams.
• Independently deliver on projects and work with others on the team, while keeping the user and their needs in the forefront to create viable solutions.
