What to expect in the role:

In this role you will work collaboratively with the product and engineering teams to test new product features before release as part of the agile development process. You will also be creating test plans and test cases to cover existing functionality of the product.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the product team to understand user stories and their acceptance criteria

Conduct testing to ensure products and features perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines

Identify, log, and recreate software bugs

Report defects to the engineering team while recommending solutions and improvements

Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

Provide accurate reports of test progress to the product squad and QA leadership teams

Develop testing plans to verify product functionality prior to release

Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce issues identified during testing

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of technical experience in quality assurance

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables

Self-starter, self-motivated, driven individual

Ability to analyze and assist in resolving defects

Analytical and problem solving skills

Attention to detail

Strong organizational skills

Nice to Haves:

Exposure to test automation tools

Understanding of basic programming concepts

Experience in an Agile working environment
