Qualifications
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify and qualify suppliers for a wide range of materials and services.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand sourcing needs, forecast demand, and align sourcing strategies with production requirements.
- Track global and domestic trends in key commodities, including commodity index tracking, regulatory impacts, and sustainability factors.
- Work with both **** existing and new vendors to ensure alignment with quality, capacity, and productivity expectations.
- Identify and qualify alternative suppliers to enhance supply chain flexibility and resilience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and mutual success.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and environmental regulations.
- Analyze procurement data and metrics to measure performance, identify improvement areas, and report on sourcing KPIs.
- Domestic travel of up to 30%.
