    About Co-Dough
Co-Dough is a sourdough-focused bakery built on a commitment to doing things the right way — high-quality ingredients, no shortcuts, and a lot of care behind everything we make. We’re growing quickly and looking for someone who wants to be part of building something long-term — not just looking for a job, but a role they can grow into.

    About the Role
The Sourdough Production Associate is responsible for high-volume dough mixing and supporting daily production operations in a fast-paced bakery production environment. This role ensures consistency and quality across all batches while assisting with kitchen prep, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Success in this position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to stay productive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment similar to food manufacturing, factory, or production work.

    Core Responsibilities

    1. Dough Production (Primary Focus)
    - Scale and mix dough in high-volume batches following established formulas
    - Monitor dough consistency and adjust based on temperature and conditions
    - Manage fermentation timing and workflow
    - Maintain consistency and quality across all batches
    - Utilize proper labeling when storing product

    2. Prep & Production Support (During Downtime)
    - Prepare components such as jams, custards, and fillings
    - Assist with setting up and preparing sheet pans for production
    - Maintain ready-to-use ingredients (e.g., tempering butter to room temperature)
    - Support general kitchen prep as needed

    3. Sanitation & Organization
    - Clean and sanitize mixing bowls, mixers, and production equipment
    - Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift
    - Perform detailed cleaning of tools, utensils, tables, and surrounding areas
    - Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

    Weekly Schedule
    - Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (can be flexible)
    - Occasional weekend shifts may be required based on production needs

    What We’re Looking For
    - Previous kitchen, bakery, or food production experience preferred (production, manufacturing, or factory experience is a plus)
    - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise processes
    - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
    - Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
    - Proven history of reliability at previous workplaces

    Compensation
    - $18–25 / hour based on experience and demonstrated skill
    - Pooled tips allocated based on hours worked
    - Overtime opportunities during peak production periods
    - Complimentary bakery items
