A high-end, trendy full-service restaurant is hiring a Sous Chef to join its professional culinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Review financial information, monitor budgets, ensure efficient operation, ensure that expenditures stay within limitations, and take action to correct any deviations from the budget.
- Assist with all hiring of the culinary team
- Ability to run and manage multiple stations in the kitchen
- Excellent knowledge of proteins and modern cooking techniques
- Constant desire to learn about the latest culinary trends
- Ensure that safety and sanitation are adhered to at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook, or Chef de Partie in a fine dining restaurant
- Excellent attention to detail
- A genuine passion for hospitality and an upbeat, fun personality
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Proven ability to lead others and positively influence employee behavior.
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Company standards.
