Job Description: As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, lead line cooks, maintain high food quality standards, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for Italian cuisine and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in managing and supervising kitchen staff
· Ensure food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards
· Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen
· Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
· Assist with ordering, inventory, and cost control
· Work weekends and holidays as required
· Support in developing and executing new menu items
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Sous Chef
· Passion for Italian food and culinary excellence
· Current food safety and sanitation certifications (required)
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
