Responsibilities: • Set and monitor performance criteria for team members, as well as provide advice and direction to support and maintain an efficient kitchen • Establish a collaborative environment for kitchen workers by educating recruits and hiring personnel that fit the corporate culture • Exceed guest expectations while increasing sales and profits and overseeing the success of day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen • Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price • Combine diverse ingredients in a unique way to create new and distinctive menu items and specials • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Qualifications: • This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team • At least 7-8 years of culinary experience • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate • Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift • Please only apply if you meet each of these criteria Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly
