Responsibilities: • Coordinate all kitchen food preparation, including processes, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are presented elegantly • Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials • Establish a collaborative environment for kitchen workers by educating recruits and hiring personnel that fit the corporate culture • Be responsible for the overall success of the daily culinary operations, with an emphasis on surpassing guest expectations while driving revenue and profit • Provide guidance and direction to staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance to make the kitchen run efficiently • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Qualifications: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members • This role requires 7-8 years of culinary experience • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED • Outstanding management abilities, as well as experience leading, inspiring, and building a team • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage • Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift • Please only apply if you meet each of these criteria Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 yearly
