Responsibilities: • Make decisions for daily culinary operations, including exceeding guest expectations and increasing revenue and profit • Work with vendors to secure the best items at cost-effective pricing, and manage department expenses that are within your direct control such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment • Combine diverse ingredients in a unique way to create new and distinctive menu items and specials • Recruit, train, and lead all kitchen personnel while instilling a sense of teamwork through positive feedback, mentoring, and support • Coordinate all kitchen food preparation, including processes, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are presented elegantly • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Qualifications: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and other team members • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate • Understanding and compliance with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage • This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team • Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift • Please only apply if you meet each of these criteria Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 yearly
