    South Denver Spine is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join our team in Centennial, CO!

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    • Responsible for speaking with patient in order to schedule, remind and follow-up on appointments. Add, cancel or make changes to appointments in organization’s booking app.
    • Responsible for prepping and cleaning the room for IV Therapy session.
    • Responsible for inserts, monitors and removes an IV used to give medication and or vitamins nutrition to a patient for hydration therapy session. During the IV therapy, you will monitor the patient for adverse reactions and ensures that the tubing, bandages and needle stay in place throughout the session.
    • Responsible for collecting payment for services and reconciling at the end of each day.

     

    DUTIES:

    • Adhere to all pertinent local, state and federal pharmacy regulations.
    • Preforms sanitation, maintenance, and tracking of all infusion equipment
    • Preforms inventory control, follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
    • Preform IV insertion and removal
    • Mixing of the appropriate quantities of vitamins in IV fluid bag.
    • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
    • Greet patients in a professional, warm, friendly and calm manner
    • Perform patient registration 
    • Direct patients to available examination rooms and ensure rooms are set up based on patient initial complaint
    • Assist in-patient care
    • Discharge patients from room with instructions
    • Ensure each room is cleaned after each patient encounter
    • Ensure patient flow is speedy and organized
    • Restocking medical supplies
    • General office cleanup at end of day or end of shift Enter charges, scan charts and ensure
    • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner
    • Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting area and front office area 
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Graduate of accredited program.
    • Licensed in accordance with State of Colorado requirements 
    • Preferred Minimum of 1 years of experience in a medical office setting
    • Must be proficient in the use of computer software
    • Warm, friendly attitude with excellent patient interaction skills
    • Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possesses excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently
