  • Responsibilities

    Robust company, with year-to-year growth, located in Fort Lauderdale is looking to add a Controller to their Accounting and Finance group. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will be responsible for oversight of all accounting and finance activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, budgets, and actual expenditures.
    • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
    • Respond to inquiries from the CFO and Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests

    Requirements:

    • Active CPA license
    • 6+ years of large company accounting experience and/or public accounting experience from the audit side
    • Supervisory experience
