  • Responsibilities

    South Florida Recruiters has been retained by a well-established luxury home builder that has been in business for over 30 years to identify them a Controller who can eventually take over the CFO role within the next 2 years. This will be based out of their West Palm Beach office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations
    • Compile, prepare and analyze financial statements and accounting reports
    • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
    • Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning process
    • Supervise the accounting department and oversee the payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
    • Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals
    • Respond to inquiries from the Executives regarding financial results and special reporting requests

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA is preferred
    • 5+ years of real estate development/construction industry experience
