A Financial Services Firm with investment activities in venture capital, private equity and real estate is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the strategic and financial direction of the firm
• Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance & accounting functions including preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results
• Develop new capital sources and expand existing sources
• Maintain banking and vendor relationships for the firm including financing and financial planning
• Negotiate outside funding vehicles for the firm
• Manage financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation, and reporting
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts
• Analyze long-range planning and strategic operational initiatives to the CEO
• Advise on the financial implications of new business activities
• Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities

Requirements:

• An active CPA license
• 15+ years of experience with a fast-paced, direct financial services firm and has demonstrated a successful record as a CFO
• Strong business acumen and highly effective communication and negotiation skills
