A large real estate developer in Ft. Lauderdale has a Senior Accountant position available. You will oversee various real estate projects and report to the Project Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with timely month-end and year-end close on various real estate projects
• Perform accurate and timely posting of all transactions including A/P, A/R, cash, check runs, journal entries, etc.
• Perform all necessary account reconciliations
• Support budget and forecasting activities
• Track material and labor warranties by project and issue substantial completion letters

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of accounting experience in the construction/real estate industry
