Anticipated Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent/Principal
South Hackensack Board of Education| South Hackensack, NJ
Date Available: July 1, 2021 (Full-time, 12-month position)
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s Degree;
? Minimum 3 years experience working in an office setting performing administrative duties as determined by the board;
? Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills;
? Ability to expedite, delegate, and schedule work efficiently;
? Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite; Familiar with NJSMART, Genesis, and Outlook preferred;
? Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred;
? Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent/Principal may find appropriate and acceptable.
Responsibilities: (includes, but not limited to)
? Works independently to provide direct administrative support to the Superintendent/Principal;
? Coordinates office operations and supports the Superintendent/Principal in effectively carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the office;
? Keeps accurate records, works independently, and displays outstanding organizational skills;
? Handles confidential or sensitive information appropriately;
? Trouble-shoots administrative problems related to the assigned office on a daily basis;
? Serves as primary administrative contact for Superintendent/Principal’s office with administration, faculty and the public;
? Oversees staff absence requests and acts as the site substitute caller
? Performs such other tasks as may be assigned by the Superintendent/Principal.
