    Job Description

We are currently seeking a full time Human Resources Assistant to provide support to the HR Manager and employees of the agency with exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. The better we support our staff, the better they can serve our clients.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Recruiting/Onboarding staff including writing and placing job ads, staff communication, background checking, orientation materials, databases, files, etc
    • Maintain I-9 Files, E-Verify
    • Employee surveys including distribution and reporting
    • Staff separations including updating systems, closing out files, communications, etc
    • Scheduling staff for required trainings, billing, updating systems, etc
    • Audit assistance pulling/verifying files as needed
    • Serve as back up to payroll processing
    • Maintain monthly conference room schedules
    • Respond to general email inquiries through SL website
    • Perform duties of Safety Marshall for the office to include fire drills, supplies
    • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, documents, correspondence as requested by HR Manager or CFO
    • Assist with meeting preparations/agency events
    • Employment verifications

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma plus three to five years broad human resources experience or Associate's Degree with two to three years broad human resources experience
    • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
    • Excellent Excel, Word, and various database experience
    • Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills
