Software Quality Assurance Analyst II
Job Description
SEDC is seeking a SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST II to lead our Vision 2025 in the CIS Development team.

DESCRIPTION:
As part of SEDC’s CIS organization, the perfect candidate will develop and execute tests to validate software, billing systems, interfaces and connected systems to ensure all parts are working as per specifications to meet the client's needs and requirements. Communicates with project team members and management throughout the testing cycle to evaluate any gaps, errors, issues or missing requirements.
Creates and executes test designs, strategies, cases and scenarios. Executes manual and/or automated test cases ensuring the functionality of the software and systems are functioning per requirements.
Write detailed, step by step test cases ensuring that all fields are properly completed and all steps are written per testing standards. Conducts tests before product launches to ensure software runs correctly and meets client needs. Monitors all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Reviews requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Defines test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements. Debugs and defines corrective actions to ensure product quality. Monitors debugging process results.
Determine regression test scenarios to ensure existing functionality was not affected from new development. Tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Uses knowledge of commonly used testing practices, concepts and procedures, such as the testing lifecycle and different types of testing and when each type of testing should be utilized. Provides feedback to developers, designers, analysts, scrum masters and testers to relay testing status and issues. Identifies and communicates issues and risks found to management.
BACHELORS DEGREE WITH 3-4 YEARS OF THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE SOFTWARE TESTING TECHNIQUES AND PRACTICES, DATA COMPILING, ORGANIZING AND ANALYZING METHODOLOGY WITH SQL.
