    Job Description

    SEDC is seeking a IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST III  to be part of the success in our Vision 2025 mission. SEDC was formed in 1976 by a group of Electric Membership Cooperatives with a vision for a single enterprise solution provider to serve data processing, IT, and operational needs to cooperatives, public utility districts, and municipal utilities. Today, the SEDC Suite serves over 500 utilities across the country with industry leading enterprise software solutions

    As part of SEDC’s Implementation Services organization, the ideal candidate is a customer oriented, self motivated and intellectually curious team member who uses subject matter expertise to independently configure utility accounting business processes on a customer-by-customer basis for proprietary utility accounting software platform.

    The ACCOUNTING IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST is responsible for working with team members and customers to complete all aspects of the Implementation life cycle from discovery, business process configuration, testing, deployment, documentation and customer support.

    The accounting implementation specialist must have the ability to perform analysis to identify, troubleshoot, research and resolve issues during the implementation life cycle. 

    Uses organizational tools effectively along with sound judgement to make reasonable assumptions and decisions. 

    Trains and mentors level I and other level II Implementation Specialists

    Demonstrates a passion for excellent customer service with both internal and external customers, which includes cross functional teams.

    Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

    Communicates effectively both verbally and nonverbally between internal/external customers.

    Ability to present technical information both verbally and nonverbally to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Ability to extract and analyze data within Oracle Databases utilizing SQL

    Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of applicable experience. Previous experience in accounting preferred but not required.

    ORGANIZATIONAL TOOLS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    SQL Developer

    SLACK

    Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

    Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of applicable experience
