POSITION: BILLING CLERK

LOCATION: METRO ATLANTA, GA

Southeastern Traffic Supply in Smyrna, GA., is seeking a Billing Clerk. This position is responsible for supporting our Billing Supervisor. General duties include but are not limited to the following:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with Branch Management to ensure data quality and consistency on job documents
• Assess billing documents for accuracy and completeness, acquiring missing or correct data when necessary
• Code billing documents based on work performance and customer contracts.
• Input data from billing documents into accounting software.
• Submit invoices to customers
• Other general accounting duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
• Attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
• Ability to work independently.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma required.

· Associates degree preferred

· Three to five years of related experience

· Experience with Sage 100 is highly preferred

COMPENSATION OFFERED:

· Full time, non- exempt position

· Pay rate of $19.00 hourly

· Paid time off and paid holidays

· Eligible for healthcare insurance

· Eligible to participate in employer matching 401k
